These seedlings are the result of me dabbing pollen two years ago.  Last year, their first year of growing after being planted from seed, they just were not able to get big and mature enough to bloom.  This is typical when hybridizing daylilies in Michigan without a greenhouse.

Anticipation certainly builds when waiting two long years, but finally the moment of truth arrives.  My 2018 seedling crop is blooming and here is a sampling!
